Thursdays - The Food Chain youth cooking class
The Food Chain pairs Cleveland-area chefs with Clark-Fulton youth to make meals together. In each weekly session, enrolled kids focus on a few particular foods and skills, building skills while making a complete meal. Participants serve the food they cook to folks at the space. Youth are enrolled in six-week sessions, at the end of which they prepare a huge meal and invite the community!
Contact Josh at foodchain@clevelandspace.org or 216-631-2233 to sign up.

Sundays - Yoga
Yoga - 11:30am-1pm
Yoga with Mary's new location (at the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Community Center of Greater Cleveland):
6600 Detroit Ave.
Each Sunday morning (since July, 2006) C-Space becomes a studio where students gather for their weekly yoga practice together. We focus on the importance of the breath, finding mental focus and clarity, and poses that engage the flow of energy through the body increasing physical endurance, flexibility and openness. We explore yogic philosophy, what it means to practice yoga "off the mat" and relaxation techniques. At times we engage the effects that vibrations of the Sanskrit language bring through chanting.
We have a wonderful, dedicated group of regular students and the class is open to all - those interested in yoga and wish to explore it for the first time in an accepting environment as well as intermediate and experienced yogis/yoginis who want to deepen their practice. The class is held every Sunday morning from 11:30 until 1:00. And perhaps best of all, it's free.
Classes are taught by Mary Brennan. Feel free to contact at gentleladie@yahoo.com
